MACROTEK DRY INJECTION SYSTEM FOR ACID GAS EMISSION CONTROL

Dry reagent is injected into the flue gas upstream of the fabric filter. Acid gases are absorbed at the point of injection and as they pass through the filter cake. Clean gas passes through the fan and is discharged into the atmosphere. The simplicity of the Macrotek system offers low maintenance, low capital, cost-effective advantages over other designs.

Acid gasses, including SO2, HCl, and HF, are controlled in this system. Particulate collected on the bags includes reagent and reaction byproducts as well as flyash and heavy metals. Dry reagents that can be utilized include limestone, lime, sodium bicarbonate or other readily available materials.

Applications include solid, hazardous and medical waste incinerators, oven, dryer and furnace emissions and other smelting or processing streams.
