The welded construction modules, available in square or rectangular configuration offer an efficient, low cost fabric filter for product recovery, general nuisance and process dust collection. Macrotek provides a broad range of pulse-jet style dust collectors in either a top or bottom entry configuration. The pulse-jet line of dust collectors offers excellent filtration efficiency and ease of installation and operation. In most cases our modules are completely assembled for shipment. Our top entry units can be supplied with walk-in clean air plenum design providing protection during inclement weather or lift-off roof doors when confined space is a concern.

We offer a standard line of units, however custom units and systems are often designed and built to meet your specific needs and space/size requirements. Bottom Bag removal design offers an economical alternative, especially for applications where head room is limited. Pleated Filter concept offers significant capacity increase for retrofitting existing collectors and for applications designed to fit in a small space. Cylindrical collectors are available for higher design pressures.

THE MACROTEK PULSE-JET “ON LINE” CLEANING TECHNOLOGY

The Macrotek pulse jet design includes group of bags enclosed in housing. Dirty air enters the housing and travels through the filter bags. Filtered air is vented to the atmosphere. High pressure air pulse dislodges the dust, which falls into the hopper for disposal or recovered for use. Cleaning cycle is initiated from remote timer or pressure switch. Signal actuates pilot solenoid valves and diaphragm valves which permits momentary jet of high pressure air to each venturi and filter bag. Only one row of bags is cleaned at pre-selected intervals, while the system is in operation.
